"description": "Thursday, 11/5 at 8pm ET/7pm CT/6pm MT/5pm PT It’s been a record-breaking year for DSA and we’re not slowing down any time soon. In this midterm election cycle alone, DSA chapters are running socialist candidates and ballot measures all across the country, with over 350 chapter-endorsed races up and down the ballot. We’re set to triple our presence in the halls of Congress, sending a socialist bloc to DC that will fight to put people over profits. With over 130,000 members, we’re the largest socialist organization the United States has seen since the 1910s – and we’re growing every day. Though the socialist movement is growing every day and in every part of the country, the establishment and the Trump administration is doing whatever they can (or even what they can’t) to try to stop us. We’re not backing down. No matter the outcome this Tuesday, we’re prepared to celebrate and to keep fighting for the better world we know is possible. From universal healthcare, abolishing ICE, housing we can afford, and so much more, we’re building a movement that’s for the many, and not the money. Join us this Thursday, November 5th at 8pm ET / 5pm PT for a mass call and hear from DSA member leaders, elected socialists, and DSA’s national co-chairs as we reflect on this historic midterm cycle and hear more about what comes next (and how you can get involved). ",
