"description": "Collaborative day to collectively organise and learn from grassroots organisations around decolonising, abolition and anti-racist practice. Join us in Leicester on Saturday 14th September 2024 to organise around abolition, as we reflect on regional and local radical traditions, the role of colonialism in shaping our present and how we can take abolitionist approaches in our activism today. Through a day of workshops, roundtables and creative sessions, we invite you to attend, meet other regional and local grassroots organisations working across anti-racism, workers’ rights and migrant advocacy and discuss how we can work together for collective liberation. Free refreshments will be provided. Speakers to be announced - stay tuned! Limited travel subsidies are available on a first come first served basis.
