Now we get to go knock the doors and talk to people about the real meat and potatoes of the campaigns: Our candidates, what they stand for and what their platforms are. And the best part, we get to do it all without all the messy, &quot;are they dems? Are we dems? Do the signatures count? Are all of the metrics being met?&quot;, but will all of the true enthusiasm and joy we have surrounding our Affordability Slate and the real change that they could bring to our region were they to win their seats. So join us at this or any of our many upcoming canvassing events to get out and talk to the people. Let them know who they could be voting for, why having such a vibrant grassroots movement around a slate of candidates is so exciting, and why they should get involved too! We&#x27;ll give everyone a chance to end each canvassing with a debrief and social time before everyone leaves for the evening. Because solidarity means not just working together, but relaxing together and really enjoying what we&#x27;re doing. This is the first of many of these that will be happening in the upcoming months, so if you can&#x27;t make this one but want to help, take a look through the others we have scheduled and find one that works for you! Or, if there aren&#x27;t any that are scheduled during times that work well for you, reach out to the campaigns and we&#x27;ll make something that will work for you: Because we care about our volunteers just as much as we care about our candidates!
