	"description": "Join us for an afternoon of crafts, discussion and celebration. For this year&#x27;s Refugee Week, we want to celebrate the superpower of our city&#x27;s diverse communities. During the event, we will be exploring how people power is taking on businesses to stop human rights abuses and environmental destruction within supply chains. We are currently confirming our speakers so keep an eye on this page for more information about the event. There will be activities for all ages from painting a forest mural, writing to decision makers to making trees for our 3D rainforest. To round off the day, we will be hosting a social with a bring and share buffet from 5PM-6:30PM. This is a family friendly event so children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. More details coming soon! We are looking for people to volunteer to help with our Celebrating CommUnity event, whether it’s helping to set up, manning the welcome table or helping us organise it.
