This guarantees citizens the right to know what chemicals are in their area and what is being planned to be brought in or travel through their neighborhoods. Having a citizen&#x27;s presence on their Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) is vital to protecting their air, water and community. Being able to identify and research hazardous materials and environments in your neighborhood is a valuable tool to help citizens to call in the appropriate help that can save lives and property as well as to better inform the public of potential dangers from planned facilities or chemicals in transit. When used together, EPCRA / LEPCs as well as awareness can be a powerful tool to help keep people safe. The Training Call will occur on TUESDAY, March 28th, 2023 at 12:00 PM EST.",
