Citizens UK has been pioneering the work around Community Sponsorship over the last few years and our recent work has been to establish Communities for Ukraine and setting the groundwork for Communities for Afghanistan. Over the last few months, we have been meeting with Muslim institutions who are keen to play a bigger role in the refugee space and mapping out how communities can take more ownership to help resettle those fleeing war and persecution.
