	"description": "On Thursday 5th May Croydon will elect our first ever Mayor! Croydon Climate Action and the Croydon Green Network is hosting our very own hustings entirely focused on the environment. Hustings are a great opportunity to hear directly from candidates and ask them your questions. We have invited: Val Shawcross (Labour), Jason Perry (Conservative), Peter Underwood (Greens), Richard Horward (Lib Dem), Farah London (Taking The Initiative Party) and Gavin Palmer (Independent). We are taking questions in advance so please email them to us via croydonclimateaction@gmail.com. We hope there may be an opportunity on the night as well. We are also organising a way for this to be live streamed so that you can access this event from home or wherever you are. Please keep an eye out for updates. Please do not attend if you have COVID19 and we would greatly appreciate it if you wore a mask, although following government guidelines this is not mandatory.
