Humans are 60% water and die within 3 days of not having it. Access to clean fresh water should be a human right, yet systemic issues with an unrestricted capitalist system allows companies like Nestle to privatize access to it. Too much or too little water is a problem; drought and floods are the outcomes we’re facing from catastrophic climate change. These are things the world is already suffering and are a very visible outcome of the Climate and Ecological Emergency. In the UK our water companies are privately owned, have a monopoly of supply in their area and are often owned by Capital (i.e. institutional investors), like Banks (UBS & JP Morgan). These companies are not acting in our interest and instead are focused on profit. 100% of our rivers fail the chemical test and 86% fail the ecological test. Climate & Ecological Emergency. #ActNow",
