"description": "Join us for the Duke St Land Use Plan's fifth (yes, FIFTH) community meeting! Getting there: Transit: the memorial is a short walk from the King Street Metro Station, so is easily accessible by metro and a multitude of bus lines (too many to list here!). Double check your route on Google Maps or the Transit App. Bike: If not comfortable with mixed traffic riding, we'd advise trying to get to King Street Station then locking up and walking over. These are the best routes we're aware of (got a better one? Let us know!) From the West: take the Eisenhower Trail (accessible via Holmes Run Trail) up Mill Road's protected bike lanes, to Jamieson's painted lanes. Turn left onto the wide sidewalk on Dulaney Street, and follow the tunnel under Duke Street to King Street Station. From the Northwest: Take King Street's (mostly) painted bike lanes. Turn right on Carlisle Drive, and follow the access rode up to the lot. From the North: Gee, sure would be nice if Braddock road had bike lanes. I'd probably make my way to the Mount Vernon Trail, take that to Old Town, and proceed from there. From Old Town: Depending where you are, use Cameron Street or Wilkes Street to make your way to King Street Station. If taking Wilkes, you'll turn right on Payne, left on Roundhouse, and then right on West. Take West to Cameron, and use that to get to King Street Station. Driving: there's parking on site",
