	"description": "Come canvas with us, finding and persuading green voters to support us at the upcoming election on 7th May 2026. We&#x27;ll meet at the Community Garden near Forest Gate Station (136 Earlham Grove). Very glad to have a new meeting spot! All instructions provided, if you&#x27;ve never done it before we will give a more in-depth training. We will canvas in pairs or small groups. Leaflets will be available if you don&#x27;t feel comfortable doorknocking. If you&#x27;re running late just let us know in the whatsapp chat, or by contacting the organiser directly (when you sign up you will get their details). Important - after the action day there is a meeting lots of us are keen to go to at Durning Hall (near forest gate station) at 2pm to 4pm. We will have a lunch break before this. The meeting is arranged by Stand Up to Racism Newham and is a planning meeting for a anti-racism protest against the far right on the 28th March in central London. All welcome to join this too.
