"description": "Join us for a candidate Q&A session with Frankie Santos Fritz who's seeking the chapter's endorsement for their Greenbelt City Council campaign, and Omodamola Williams who's seeking endorsement for Gaithersburg City Council in the 2025 general election! Metro DC DSA can knock 80,000 doors in a year for our endorsed electoral campaigns, and our operation is still growing. The chapter's endorsement carries a lot of weight and it dedicates a lot of our resources to a campaign's success. So we encourage all members to come ask questions in this recorded Q&A session, so we can make sure we're fully informed about the candidate, the race, and their campaign ahead of our final endorsement vote. If you aren't able to make it, please submit questions using this form. You can find all endorsement materials for the 2025 general election cycle at this link. We'll publish the Q&A recording there as well. After this meeting at the July 13th General Body meeting the chapter will debate 2025 general election endorsement resolutions. Afterward, there will be a period for members to submit statements for or against endorsement that will appear on the ballot, and then ballots will be emailed to membership for a vote.
