The theme will be people power - so this is as much about you as it is about the candidates who want your vote! Plus, via livestream, you&#x27;ll watch the GM Mayoral By-Election Candidates share their answers to a set of questions put forward by community groups as well as their opening and closing statements, and talk about their answers. We are inviting you to host a party with your neighbours, friends or community groups to watch along - this could be in your house, pub or community centre! You&#x27;ll need good wifi, a facebook account, and some party vibes. With a helpful guide from us, you&#x27;ll facilitate a conversation about what you want from a people-powered democracy in GM and whether you think the candidates are going to bring your vision to life. Sign up to host a party and we will send you info about support/info sessions and a helpful pack with info about how to access the livestream, how to guide the activity and how to share your discussions to feed into the big conversation about a people-powered GM!! All candidates have been invited to this live-streamed hustings. We cannot guarantee their attendance. This event is being organised in a strictly party-neutral way, with equal and balanced opportunity for each candidate to share their vision. We aren&#x27;t promoting any political party over another. Your views and votes are your own and democracy is best when there&#x27;s a wide range of opinions being shared respectfully!
