	"description": "For six years, the Baroness Hale Legal Clinic at York Law School has held an annual Global Day of Action for Climate Justice, an initiative of legal clinics around the globe. This year, Law Students for Climate Accountability is working to expand the Day of Action to the rest of the legal profession with a 25-hour marathon Zoom event, with organizations around the world presenting on different topics related to a just transition away from fossil fuels, and then passing to the next host. In addition to our deep dive into different elements of a just transition, we&#x27;ll be engaging in a letter-writing campaign, asking regulators of different jurisdictions&#x27; legal professions to publish guidance on the responsibilities of lawyers with respect to climate change.
