Imara is running to fight for people centric development, increased police accountability, and increased transit infrastructure in South County. Raaheela is a lifelong PG County resident and former member of the PG Board of Education, and running on a platform of fully-funding county public schools, dismantling the school-to-prison pipeline, safeguarding our immigrant neighbors, affordable housing, and universal healthcare. We will be meeting up at Rosaryville Elementary School, where we will have a brief training before heading out. If you are taking the metro, we will be meeting at 12:30pm.
