	"description": "We have spent the past 5 months campaigning to win stronger rent control in the City of LA (LA&#x27;s Rent Stabilization Ordinance, or LARSO), but we haven&#x27;t won yet. Since the vote is delayed until after City Council&#x27;s July recess we have some time to reflect on our previous tactics and plan new ones for the coming months. We also have to start mobilizing support for the housing initiatives on the statewide ballot this November! This includes the Justice For Renters Act and other ballot initiatives endorsed by California DSA. This strategy workshop will be an opportunity to reflect on our past efforts, consider lessons learned, and plan our tactics going forward. We&#x27;ll discuss our goals and how to win them!",
