We will be joining with thousands of others: poor and low-wealth people, leaders and people of faith, advocates, organizations, and more, in one coalition, calling on our state and federal governments to address the interlocking injustices of poverty, racism, the war economy, ecological devastation, and the distorted moral narrative of christian nationalism. When we address the policy violence that denies millions of us healthcare, livable wages, voting rights, and the right to lead dignified lives, we address the least of us, and therefore lift from the bottom. But we must address concurrently, the policy subsidies and preferences that go to billionaires, along with the billion dollar war machine and ecological devastation at the hands of profit and greed, in order to have a just transition.
