	"description": "Environment Massachusetts, The New England Aquarium, MASSPIRG Students, Surfrider Massachusetts, Healthy Ocean Coalition, and Conservation Law Foundation are partnering to host Massachusetts Ocean Day 2026. This inaugural ocean advocacy day will take place on Tuesday, March 31st at the Massachusetts State House. Join ocean advocates from across the state to convene on some of the top issues facing the Bay State&#x27;s coast. This day of advocacy and learning will bring together ocean advocates, activists, students, scientists and more from across Massachusetts to unite the ocean community and educate our state decisionmakers about some of the biggest issues facing our coast. The event this year will focus around four main topics: biodiversity, plastics, coastal resilience, and the blue economy. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY: We will provide a virtual training on lobbying in the days leading up to the event, and will provide a printed packet of materials, including talking points and a sample meeting agenda.
