UBI is an idea which has huge relevance at the moment with the COVID-19 pandemic affecting many people&#x27;s jobs and living standards. We&#x27;ll be joined by economist Laura Bannister, Green Party candidate in the 2015 and 2017 general elections and co-founder of the not-for-profit organisation World Basic Income. After Laura&#x27;s talk we&#x27;ll be having an informal social. Please do stick around for a chat with like-minded Greens! We&#x27;ll be holding this event over Zoom.
