"description": "Join us on the first day of early voting in DC. We'll gather on Monday October 26 at 5:30 pm near Black Lives Matter Plaza and march together to the MLK Jr library early votiing site. Why do we march? Not for a party. Not for a candidate. We march because too many of our neighbors are working and still poor, sick and still without care, faithful and still pushed away from the ballot box. When poverty, voter suppression, and the denial of health care and living wages go unchallenged, that is not only bad policy. It is a moral failure. The prophets never asked whether justice was convenient. They demanded it. This is not about left or right. It is about right and wrong. Every eligible voter who casts a ballot is a witness that the people most impacted will not be silent. We answer that call the way movements always have: with our feet, our faith, and our votes. Reverend William Barber",
