	"description": "Join our spirited&amp;nbsp;march and rally on this national day of action, the 5th anniversary of the DEATH OF DEMOCRACY by the Supreme Court&#x27;s &quot;Citizens United&quot; decision allowing special interests and big donors to strangle Democracy.&amp;nbsp; The march (1.3 mi.) will be kicked off by the inspirational Khafre Jay, a hiphop artist for change.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; The march will be&amp;nbsp;led by effigies of 5 of the Supreme Ct. justices followed by a brass band, signs and chants with some marchers carrying a coffin with Uncle Sam inside. The rally will begin at 4:30 at the end of the marching site, the Federal Building at 450 Golden Gate Avenue. (Civic Center BART.)&amp;nbsp; There will be speakers, music and the mock burial of Uncle Sam.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Speakers to date include: Tom Ammiano, San Francisco&#x27;s inspirational, progressive leader; Gayle McLaughlin, former Richmond mayor who stood up to Chevron and won; Derek Cressman, Former Common Cause VP &amp;amp; recent Sec&#x27;t of State candidate; Bill McKibben, Nat&#x27;l President of 350.org on live visual and audio.&amp;nbsp; Music to date includes: the Occupella singers and Michael Sullivan and the Dots.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; All speakers will speak about big money running our country and what you can do about it.
