	"description": "Talk with fellow workers about workplace challenges and building worker power. After a bit of socializing, we will circle up to explore the unique issues we’re facing in our workplaces, brainstorm organizing strategies to solve those issues, and learn from one another on what’s working and what’s not. The Federal Unionists Network (FUN) DMV Hub is an informal association of federal unionists and our allies organizing to strengthen our unions, improve our agencies, and build solidarity across the federal sector of the labor movement in the DMV region. The DC Workplace Organizing Committee (DCWOC) is a volunteer-run network of hundreds of workers, organizers, and supporters who together are building a stronger, worker-led labor movement. Restaurant Opportunities Center of DC (ROC-DC) is an organization led by workers, for workers and with workers — fighting to improve wages and working conditions in order to create a more just, equitable and dignified restaurant industry. Metro DC DSA’s Labor Working Group brings together workers across the DMV to strengthen the militant, socialist currents within the labor movement by offering labor education and training, supporting new organizing efforts, and standing in solidarity with workers’ struggles. This event has a room capacity of 40. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
