	"description": "Calling all NYC-DSA onboarders! More new members are joining and more than ever we need your help welcoming new folks to the organization. The onboarder hours are a zoom call where trained onboarders can hop on, swap notes about what&#x27;s been working and what hasn&#x27;t been working, get questions answered by our onboarding coordinators, hype each other up a bit, and then all do some outreach together. Since so much of onboarding is between the new members and our onboarders, it&#x27;s nice to connect with others doing the same work and get reminded that we&#x27;re all in this together. Plus it&#x27;s a great excuse to do some outreach if you&#x27;ve been struggling to find the time. If you haven&#x27;t yet been trained as an onboarder, please come to one of this month&#x27;s onboarding trainings so you can join in on the fun.
