	"description": "This year, on April 22nd, OSPIRG Students and partners will be hosting a virtual Oregon Youth Climate Summit to celebrate Earth Day. OSPIRG Students is a student-directed funded organization that works to protect the environment, advocate for the public interest, and promote civic engagement. While the pandemic has posed new challenges to organizing, we’ve engaged over 300 young people in online action events this year on issues like climate change, voter participation, alleviating hunger, and college affordability. This year on Earth Day, we’re working to bring diverse voices in the movement to fight climate change together for a day of panels and discussions, as well as advocacy workshops and campaign actions. We’re representing a range of youth perspectives throughout the event.",
