"description": "Our friendly, biweekly "Dessert & Discussion" Zoom events continue! Here we gather (virtually), catch up on local and national activities, then have a brief guided discussion on a chosen topic. Sit with coffee, or fruit, or wine, or whatever you wish. This week’s event will start a little early 7pm, not 7:30pm. Our own catch-up discussion will go for a half hour, and then – if you are so inclined – we can switch over to a talk given by our chair, Paul Baicich, on “Election 2020 and the Green New Deal: Climate, Jobs & Equity,” run by the UUCC – Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Columbia – for both their "Vote" team and their "Climate Crisis" Team.",
