	"description": "In place of our second Teachers&#x27; Council meeting for September, we are presenting a series of workshops on topics requested and selected by our reps. Each rep will attend workshops on Strike Information and Preparation, The Role of the In-School Rep, and the choice of (1) Benefits &amp;amp; Leaves, (2) Equity/Truth &amp;amp; Reconciliation and OSSTF, or (3) Members in Conflict. The event will begin with an open house tour of the District Office, where reps will have the chance to meet and learn more about the other (non-teacher) Bargaining Units in District 24, with dinner at 3:45. The full schedule will be as follows: District Open House: 3 - 3:45pm Dinner: 3:45 - 4:15pm Workshop A: 4:15 - 4:45 Workshop B: 4:50 - 5:20pm Workshop C: 5:25 - 5:55pm For Teachers&#x27; Council Reps, this meeting serves as your second meeting of the year. For CBC Reps, you are invited and encouraged to attend as well, but this would be in addition to the regular schedule of CBC meetings. Looking forward to seeing you there!",
