	"description": "Groups around the world are joining together from the 13th-20th of September for the Global Week of Action for Climate Finance and a Fossil-Free Future: https://climatejustice.uk/phase-out-pay-up-justice-now/ On Friday 13th September, please join Extinction Rebellion Scotland, Extinction Rebellion Glasgow and Divest Strathclyde for a special photo action in George Square between 10 and 10.30am to mark the Global Day of Action to End Fossil Fuels. We’ll be calling on Glasgow City Council and the Strathclyde Pension Fund to take urgent action for climate justice by ending their investments in fossil fuels and instead investing in green alternatives like wind and solar power. Bring along any placards or banners if you have them or just come as you are. We want to get some colourful, fun pictures to encourage media attention. We’ll be heading to a local cafe afterwards for anyone who wants to stick around and continue the discussion about where we go next. Everyone is very welcome!
