About the trainers: Macdonald Scott is an immigration consultant; organizer around migrant justice and around poverty. Tara Seucharan is a grassroots climate justice activist who works on the Fossil Banks movement at Greenpeace Canada. About the Movement Defense Committee: Since the start of 2020, the MDC has provided legal support at 50+ protests and direct actions including those calling for defunding the police, safe and affordable shelter for all, and Wet’suwet’en solidarity actions.
