Our elected officials need to treat climate change like the emergency it is. If Harris or Riley are elected, we plan to protest outside the Tompkins County Democratic Committee Office to demand that these elected Democrats hold to their promises and prioritize addressing the climate emergency from the moment they step into office. If Trump and Molinaro are elected, we will focus on pressuring Molinaro to step up and be a climate leader, pushing his party toward comprehensive climate action. We will host an in-person phone-bank on the Commons, in which we call his office one after another to tell our personal climate stories. Both actions will start at 3:30pm downtown, with IHS students marching from IHS at 2:45pm.",
