	"description": "Extinction Rebellion Õtepoti is taking action on Friday 19th + Saturday 20th of April as part of an international call for climate action. Come get involved to meet the growing New Zealand and international movement of environmental activism. Be a part of a growing tide of frustration and hope. On Friday 19th April 10am-12pm, we will be having a theatrical dinner party at Bayfield Park to draw attention to the lack of action in response to rising sea levels. Bring your warm brew and have a yarn with XR rebels. To make the biggest splash, join our parade of merry makers on Saturday 20th April from 10am-12pm. Meet at the train station. Dress up in your wetsuits, mermaid costumes, snorkel gear, and togs for an underwater procession that highlights the ridiculousness of inaction with rising sea levels. So if this floats your boat, then join us! Bring your friends, your goggles, your dogs (your dogs in goggles?), heck even your kayaks and lets take to the streets!",
