Pay up for the devastation they&#x27;ve caused for communities impacted by oil extraction, pay up for the climate crisis, and pay up to fund a rapid, just transition away from fossil fuels. Meet at 7.45am, Shell Centre (Belvedere Rd entrance), Thursday 31st October. Bring spooky halloween themed costumes/placards if you can! We will hear from a range of speakers, including Mitzi Jonelle Tan, a Filipina anti-imperialist climate justice activist. Join us for this week of action, to make sure the UK government hears us loud and clear: the time for polluters to pay is NOW. The UK government MUST announce a substantial contribution of new and additional revenue for the Loss and Damage fund at COP29 by taxing polluters.",
