This session will describe the current state of DC&#x27;s electricity utility, how a publicly-owned municipality could lower rates, prevent shutoffs, and increase the shift to renewable energy, and how DSA&#x27;s WePower DC campaign is organizing to bring about this bright future. Learn how the fight for public power will help us build power. This is a hybrid event. The in-person event will be at the Cleveland Park Neighborhood Library, Meeting Room 1.
