"description": "In honor of the 60th Anniversary of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, NDN Collective, Utah Dine Bikeyah and Patagonia are hosting a virtual screening of Public Trust, a film about the fight for America’s Public Lands. Right now, the Trump Administration is continuing its attack on the Coastal Plane of the Arctic Refuge, ancestral lands to the Gwich’in and sacred calving ground to the Porcupine Caribou, a sacred relative, who are a key species for Gwich’in food sovereignty. We stand in solidarity with our Gwich’in relatives and affirm their belief that these lands are sacred and must be permanently protected. Before, during, and after this screening we invite you to donate to the Gwich’in Steering Committee to support their efforts to stop Trump and his oil cronies from destroying these incredibly biodiverse and culturally rich lands and waters. The goal of this screening is to benefit the Gwich'in Steering Committee who is at the forefront of defending the Arctic Refuge and has been organizing and mobilizing on this issue for more than three decades. Donte to the Gwich’in Steering Committee by clicking HERE!",
