We will gather at 4:00 PM on Friday, September 27, 2024, at Washington Square Park and start marching at 4:30. We will march to several locations in downtown Rochester and then return to Washington Square Park, where we will have an organizational fair until 7:00. Our goal is to build local engagement on this global issue: to mobilize local residents to engage in climate action that local organizations are taking. This event is a collaboration between the Sunrise Movement, Rochester Youth Climate Leaders, Students for a Democratic Society at University of Rochester, Extinction Rebellion Rochester, Third Act Upstate NY, Rochester Area Interfaith Climate Action, Climate Reality Finger Lakes, Citizens&#x27; Climate Lobby Rochester, the Climate Solutions Accelerator of the Genesee-Finger Lakes Region, and other climate-concerned organizations and individuals.",
