	"description": "We’re ramping up our activities to get more Green councillors elected to Newham council next May – we are campaigning to get TEN or more Greens elected, up from our present three. So we have lots going on for you to get involved in! All our progress getting Greens elected is thanks to our members and supporters coming out with us delivering leaflets or knocking on doors - that’s how we won our first two councillors in Newham in 2022! We know we can do it - if we have enough volunteers. We&#x27;d love it if you can take part... With our new party leadership team announced as Zack Polanski as leader, with deputies Rachel Millward and Mothin Ali, there is huge momentum, excitement and enthusiasm at the moment, so now is a great time to get involved. We&#x27;ll either be doing residents surveys or delivering leaflets - don&#x27;t worry if you&#x27;ve not done this before, we&#x27;ll team you up with people who have. Meeting location and time subject to change. Once signed up you&#x27;ll get more details such as our Whatsapp group you can join to keep up to date, and organiser contact details. If you can&#x27;t make the start we usually share live location in the Whatsapp group, or text to let us know your ETA. A typical schedule: 13:00 Meet and briefing, group photo 13:30 Surveys/leaflets in the ward as assigned 15:30 Break (late lunch/snacks in local park or cafe) 16:30 Group photo, Surveys/leaflets in the ward as assigned 18:30 End, debrief and ward social at the pub",
