"description": "Join San Jose State Associated Students and SJSU leaders to celebrate public transit and the BayPass all agency transit pass pilot. First, attend the Press Conference at 10am at the Tommie Smith and John Carlos status on Tower Lawn at SJSU to hear from Interim President Steve Perez, Senator Dave Cortese, County Supervisor Cindy Chavez, Councilmember Raul Peralez, and A.S. BOD of Sustainability Dhruv Varshney. Then in the evening, meet at San Jose City Hall a 4:30pm to join the ride-along, or join the gathering around 5:30pm at Cahill Park for tacos, speeches, gamesand giveaways. Where: SJSU --> Cahill Park Route Plan: 4:40 - Meet at San Jose City Hall (E Santa Clara St) 4:50 - Board on VTA Bus 22 on Santa Clara & 5th 4:58 - Depart bus at The Alameda and Rhodes stop 5:05 - Arrive at Cahill Park (5 minute walk from drop off point) 5 - 7PM - Tacos, speeches, games, giveaways at the park!
