	"description": "CAFF has partnered with Carolina Farm Stewardship Association and the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition to create a food safety curriculum that is geared towards small farmers. We are piloting the training in California on March 12th and 13th. There is a more detailed breakdown of the agenda below: March 12th: 8:30-9am Check in and coffee 9-noon training noon-12:30 lunch 12:30-4:30 Training March 13th: 8:30-9am Check in and coffee 9-noon training Noon-12:30 lunch 12:30-2 pm training Registration is required to attend the training and it is free. Lunch will be provided both days along with light breakfast goods and coffee and tea. Farmer participants will be eligible to receive a $500 stipend for attending the training and filling out the evaluation forms. Farmers must attend both days to receive the stipend and fill out their direct deposit information on a form provided by CAFF at the event.",
