	"description": "This is a special meeting, open to all members, to introduce the resolution to endorse Shayla Adams-Stafford in the Prince George&#x27;s County Council District 5 special election. Chapter members are strongly encouraged to come ask questions about the candidate, race, and endorsement. You can see Shayla&#x27;s endorsement questionnaire here. Because of the atypically short timeline for the special election, likely happening in February or March, the Steering Committee has voted to hold this special meeting. On Tuesday, November 19 at 7pm (RSVP here) there will be another meeting to hold a Q&amp;amp;A session with the candidate, hold the second read of the endorsement resolution, and debate on endorsement. Please submit Q&amp;amp;A questions here. Afterward, there will be a period for members to submit statements for or against endorsement that will appear on the ballot, and then ballots will be emailed to membership.
