	"description": "Seattle DSA is considering an endorsement of Sherae Lascelles (they/them), activist candidate for State House, running against one of the most prominent Democratic establishment politicians in the state, Frank Chopp. At our September 1 General Membership Meeting we were honored to be joined by Sherae for a Q&amp;amp;A town hall. This meeting (9/8) is a special membership meeting organized to give members sufficient time and information to consider an endorsement of Sherae&#x27;s campaign. Voting on endorsement will be open to all members who attended either the 9/1 General Membership Meeting or the 9/8 special membership meeting, and will be opened after the special meeting.
