Andrés represents clients across a wide range of industries and complex business disputes, and he is deeply committed to pro bono work. He is recognized by D Magazine as one of the Best Lawyers in Dallas and by Benchmark Litigation’s “40 &amp;amp; Under Hot List.” David Donatti David Donatti, a native Houstonian, is a senior staff attorney in the ACLU of Texas&#x27; legal department. David joined the ACLU of Texas in January 2019. Before joining the ACLU of Texas, David worked in international dispute resolution. He holds a B.A. from the University of Texas and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. Kassandra Gonzalez Kassandra “Kassi” Gonzalez is a Senior Attorney at the Texas Civil Rights Project where she leads impact litigation to defend the civil rights of immigrants. Her work focuses on holding government agencies accountable, protecting access to asylum, and advancing dignity-centered immigration policies. A first-generation attorney raised along the Texas–Mexico border, Kassi’s career is rooted in service, community, and systemic change. Beyond her legal practice, she is committed to mentorship. She served as a Lecturer in the University of Texas at Austin’s Liberal Arts Honors Program, mentored law students through Texas Law, and supported emerging public-interest attorneys at TCRP. In recognition of her dedication to investing in future leaders, Texas Law named her Mentor of the Year in 2024, and she was selected as a Wasserstein Public Interest Fellow at Harvard Law in 2025. Joshua Salzman Joshua Salzman is Senior Counsel at Democracy Forward. He previously spent a decade at the U.S. Department of Justice, including as an Assistant Director on the Civil Division’s Appellate Staff, where he briefed hundreds of cases, argued nearly 45 appeals in federal courts nationwide, and worked on matters before the U.S. Supreme Court. He has deep expertise in administrative law, separation of powers, and constitutional litigation. Before DOJ, he practiced appellate litigation at WilmerHale LLP. Joshua graduated magna cum laude from Columbia College and Harvard Law School, was an Articles Editor of the Harvard Law Review, and clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Yaman Desai Yaman Desai is a trial lawyer with extensive experience securing successful outcomes for clients in complex commercial disputes. He has obtained multi‑million‑dollar jury verdicts, early dismissals, and summary judgment victories in state and federal courts and arbitral panels nationwide, including multiple wins in the Texas Business Courts saving clients more than $100 million in potential liability.
