De Cierta Manera is a romantic drama that portrays the social transformation brought about by the early days of the Cuban Revolution. The film follows a young teacher in a marginalized neighborhood of Havana. It is about overcoming racism, sexism, and class-based prejudices in society. DSA is raising money for much-needed medical supplies to send to Cuba during this moment of increased sanctions on an already suffocating economic blockade of the island.
