	"description": "On Monday, May 13 @ 2:00 PM, The Northeast Ohio Worker Center is fighting alongside the workers of Ohio Family Counseling to help them pursue tens of thousands of dollars in stolen &amp;amp; unpaid wages. Workers have lost their homes and possessions due to never being paid what they were owed. Together, we will be marching on the Berea Municipal Court to support them filing small claims against their former employee. The action will be preceded by a brief press conference for former workers at Ohio Family Counseling to share their stories with the public. Mistreated workers from other industries will also speak about their experience as 1099 contractors, unpaid laborers, and the state of labor in Northeast Ohio in 2024. Tara Yung, a former counselor at OFC, is speaking out so others feel comfortable speaking up.
