	"description": "In 2024 local elections in Whitley Bay North, we came a strong second place to Labour. But two years on, a lot has changed! Our Green membership and polling has surged, and Labour’s meanwhile Labour has gone in the other direction. That means we have a huge chance to win in Whitley Bay North in May. However, this won’t happen without us knocking on every door on the ward over the next few months, and we’re getting started on Saturday. Location: 27 The Crescent, Whitley Bay, NE26 2JG (Helen’s house) Time: Saturday 31 January, 10 am We will meet around 10am, have a 30-minute briefing and a coffee/tea, and spend a few hours on the local streets, and finish back at the Dill and Bear cafe at Whitley Bay station for a bite to eat. No experience required - We&#x27;ll be talking everyone through how it works, before heading out in pairs or threes. It&#x27;s a great way to get involved.
