In the 2025 Budget, the federal government promised to establish a $40 million two-year YCC pilot by this past April. Even this insultingly low commitment never materialized. The federal government is failing to address rising youth unemployment and the devastations of the climate crisis, while actively investing in fossil fuel expansion that will only exacerbate our problems. But it doesn’t have to be this way - now is the time to escalate our organizing and build momentum as we gear up to see the YCC pilot launch. Join us on September 8th to hear from our campaign our plan to win a permanent, large-scale Youth Climate Corps—funded at a minimum of $1 billion per year.
