On November 3rd, we’re joining together as voters in our local school board elections and FLIPPING THE BALLOT to vote on school bonds and millages. Every child deserves a quality public education where they can learn, grow, and prepare for their futures. School boards in Michigan are key to making that a reality. They set educational policies and manage budgets to make sure our students’ schools are safe and well maintained, boosting our local economy and creating a thriving Michigan. Certain politicians and the wealthy CEOs that back them have left Michigan schools underfunded by $5B every year, meaning that local districts must go to the ballot box for funding in the form of bonds and millages. That’s why we’re joining together to make a Michigan that works for the many, instead of the greediest few. It starts with the leaders we elect and the choices we make on our ballots.
