	"description": "For over 16 years, Add the Words, Idaho has been advocating the Legislature to update the Idaho Human Rights Act by adding “sexual orientation and gender identity.” Creating an equitable environment for all Idahoans, including LGBTQ+ people to live, work and thrive makes sense for business and humanity. Everyone deserves the opportunity to live authentically without fear of discrimination and violence. Folks in Idaho want to provide for themselves and their families, be housed safely and enjoy their community, LGBTQ+ Idahoans want the same thing. When it comes to growing Idaho&#x27;s economy, Fortune 500 companies are staying up to speed on which states will ensure the most welcoming to the best and brightest; having hostile statutes discouraging potential candidates is bad for business.
