A single 45-year-old earning $62,000 who gets their health insurance through the ACA exchange will pay roughly $1,470 in higher health insurance premiums this year. A 60-year-old couple earning $82,000 will see their health insurance costs rise by $18,400 while a family of four earning $126,000 will see an $8,400 increase this year. As a result, an anticipated four million people will lose their healthcare as they’re forced to choose between putting food on the table and keeping their health insurance.
