By joining together, we can amplify our voices and push for change that would be impossible to achieve as individuals. Community building: In addition to the tangible benefits of membership, DMTU is also a vibrant and supportive community of people who share your values and concerns. You will have the opportunity to connect with other tenants who are fighting for affordable and safe housing in our city, and to build relationships that can help you navigate the challenges of being a renter. Education and training: As a member of our tenants union, you will have access to education and training resources that can help you understand your rights as a tenant and advocate effectively for yourself and your community. We offer workshops on topics such as lease negotiation, tenant organizing, and eviction defense, as well as online resources that can help you stay up-to-date on the latest housing policies and trends. Political advocacy: Finally, by joining DMTU, you will have the opportunity to participate in political advocacy campaigns that aim to advance tenants&#x27; rights and create more equitable housing policies in our city.
