	"description": "We are looking for motivated young people to participate in a life-changing leadership development opportunity. Nominate a student, friend, or mentee, and we will send them information about the program. Sunrise Semester is an immersive fellowship program for people 18-35 interested in environmentalism, politics, or social justice. Fellows will live together and work collaboratively to engage young voters and make climate change matter in the 2018 midterm election. Fellows will receive mentorship and career-building leadership training from experienced community organizers and environmental advocates. Program dates: June - November 2018, with some flexibility around start and end dates. Some students will take fall semester off of school to participate; others will head back to school in September. Program locations: Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Minnesota. Approximately 50% of fellows will be accepted from in-state, while others will relocate for the program.
