We know that insufficient funding is often a reason that school districts deny services and accommodations to students who receive special education services. While no student should be denied services or accommodations on the grounds of funding, the reality is that school district budgets are stretched because of federal and state allocations to IDEA and special education funds. We will use the stories we collect here on our social media and email to tell the stories of the families and students that are impacted by special education funding in state and federal budgets.
