We can make real change on over-criminalization, police misconduct, state violence, poverty, education, and mass incarceration with this election. The Virginia NAACP has committed to reaching 240,000 voters throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. We have setup our Voter Activation Network to allow you to canvass (knock on doors), call from home from 11am til 9pm (Virtual Phonebank) or organize a community phonebank. We want to know how you will support our GOTV efforts and what we can do to ensure your success. Canvass Knocking on doors is the most effective, persuasive method to engage voters. We can prepare paper walk lists or lists that can be sent to your smartphone or tablet. Phonebank from Home We have lists of voters available for Richmond, Henrico, Emporia, Brunswick, Roanoke, Petersburg, Norfolk, Portmouth and Hampton. Community Phonebank We can provide a paper list, electronic list or a combination. Just let us know how many phone numbers you want and we will make it happen. Training We can setup group or individual trainings so that you can make the best use of the Voter Activation Network. It is critical that the results from canvassing or phonebanking are immediately entered into the VAN so that we can assess how much work still needs to be done.",
